Hello world!

Hello world? Seriously. Well, that’s pretty cheesy, but it was already here when I set up this blog. I left it as is only to show how silly it sounds and because I couldn’t think of anything else. So Hello world it is.

I keep trying to think of some semi-legitimate reason to have started this blog and I have to admit I’m having a little trouble. Here are a few . . .  Because I lead such an interesting life that anyone in their right mind would love to follow my every move? Because I write so eloquently it will inspire you to greater things? Oh, no, I know, because it is bound to lead you to a blissful existence, just for having read it? Right? Um, no. I think not.

Truthfully, I really don’t know what made me do it. I can say I wanted a place to share my passions and maybe have the chance to share the bits and pieces I’ve learned from them (does that make any sense at all?). I’d love to show you what I’ve been up to in the sewing/paper crafting/digital art realm. And well, probably, also to get to think out loud, so to speak, to clear out the cobwebs in my head (boy it’s a mess up there, believe me.) Hopefully, that will keep me from getting too terribly Distracted with all that stuff going on in my brain. Did you notice how I capitalized the D in Distracted, like it’s my middle name . . .

Luckily, I am occasionally blessed with a bit of wit and incite and I do have a thing or two to pass on. So let the blog begin! Well you know what I mean.
