I’m told I have an obsessive personality. Who Me? It can’t be. Well, maybe. OK, OK. It’s true. I get really obsessed with things. Ever since I started sewing again, I became COMPLETELY obsessed with sewing tutorials and online patterns. There is a remarkable wealth of information out there, certainly enough to keep me up at night thinking of all the groovy little things I could wow people with. I mean there’s no reason anyone would have to know those weren’t my ideas right?
Well, anyway. One of the first sites I ever stumbled across was Heart of Mary. She has some awesome tutorials that are so easy to follow and just easy-peasy. It was downright enjoyable working on this tut for a messenger bag. The best part was when my husband saw it. “You made that? Really?” And believe me he isn’t the type to humor me. Since then I’ve made many many bags (You should see my closet. Seriously it’s bad.) and I guess you can say I’ll never be without a matching bag.
